Default can't install 4ext recovery

Hello everyone,
I have an htc sensation XE and I am trying to install 4ext recovery v1.0.0.6 RC2. That's because I want to flash [4.4.4] CyanogenMod 11 with 3.0.16 kernel.
I have already installed into the phone the TWRP backup, version 2.6.
I have installed the 4ext recovery update .apk and I have installed the 4ext by the apk. The apk says that the 4ext is installed correctly, but when I open the recovery from the bootloader, TWRP recovery is opening. I tryed also to install the ROM by the 4ext apk, but when the phone reboot, is opening always TWRP.
Can anyone help me??
thanks

These are the info of my bootloader:
=JunopunutBear=
PYRAMUD PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
HBOOT-1.27.1111
RADIO-11.23.3504.07_M2
OpenADSP-v02.6.0.2226.00.0131
eMMC-boot

Was you trying to install recovery from ext4 .apk by using the official ROM?
If yes had you installed busybox?Sometimes busybox is a very important tool for some actions and as long as you are s-off you shouldn't have some problem while you was trying to install your new recovery.

If the problem is not the busybox or some of the busybox tools and ext4 .apk does not detect what is the recovery you have installed in your device try to clear the app settings and try again to see if the app detects it now.
You could also reinstall busybox (I have BusyBox Stericson 1.22.1 installed I am using ViperS_5.2.1).

You can also flash any ext4 recovery from hboot by renaming the downloaded {ext4}.zip you can find in the folder Download of your sdcard to PG58IMG.zip and you copy it in the root of your sdcard.

Offtopic:

As long as you have Sensation XE you can Install Hboot 1.29.(I think the latest -at least Europian- RUU for Sensation XE installs Hboot 1.29)

Just a heads up, That wouldnt work as u need android-info.txt file and recovery.img only in the PG58IMG.zip file.

The downloaded zip u get when flashing 4ext via the app has recovery.img, md5 and version files.
