New to this forum. I enjoyed this tablet for almost 3 years now. I had the OTA ICS upgrade completed, but one day, it all of the sudden would no longer boot. I used the tdfv4 tool and was able to restore it to HC 3.2.1 and enjoyed it for another couple months, before it went to getting suck in APX mode.
I see many postings about the A500 being suck in APX mode and numerous methods to get past it. I have tried babsector, tdfv4, apxflash and commandline nvflash and cannot seem to get beyond APX mode. through the use of the various tools, like babsector and tdfv4, I appear to be able to get into bootloader mode with the white or yellow acer logo on the screen, but the tools then go no further. I even tried the "heat it up and reset the chips" suggestions to no avail.
I am at a point where if someone cannot help me over this hump, I will sell the unit for parts.
Any advice would be appreciated.
