Strage issue with my K920

Hello,

So this happened today when I was planning to ship my phone to my cousin. To send the phone through air service I had to drain battery (weird rule in my country) if its an inbuilt battery hence I tried a never before method and used a Battery Drain app from Google Play.

Now after raining battery by 20% and phone turning super duper hot, I decided to uninstall the app and so I did and formatted the phone. This is the point from where things went downhill...after the phone restarted, "Home" touch key stopped working and I started getting error about "Lock Screen crashed" and wifi is stuck at "turning on" and *#06# shows up blank.

I tried rebooting and formatting it multiple times with no success.

Also tried Vol + power and tried every possible option from there with no success.

Did anyone here had a similar experience? If yes how did you resolve it?

And now the phone is in an infinite restart loop and stops only if I put it up for charging and when removed it goes back to restarting.

Entering recovery and again 'factory reset' doesn't solve problem?
I'd like to flash whole phone with qpst.
Phone is CHN or ROW? Be careful never flash ROW rom to CHN phone and CHN rom into ROW phone.

I haven't tried that yet as I couldn't find proper ROM and procedure for it after looking for it online. Its easier to find the same for Samsung phones.

Its a ROW (K920_ROW_S133_141010).

I don't have too, but you can downgrade, then upgrade to newest

Hello,

No actually not. I had to submit the phone to Lenovo service center.

Apparently even they couldn't figure out the exact issue with the phone and they raised the request to their counter part on international level.

Hopefully I should hear back from them soon.
