So if this version now has the "bump" script integrated, does the twrp need to be as well, or can this kernel still be flashed with the ROM per usual and function normally?

Hi, I also have sdcard unmounting after a while with latest build that did not occur with r016. It's a 64GB SanDisk.

twrp has it's own kernel and it can be lokified or bumped, doesn't matter.
