I'm trying to use Red Kernel r022 to get rid of the SD card unmount issue, but WiFi never turns on with this kernel.
My tablet is a LG G Pad 8.3 v500 (not GPE), running CM 12.1-20150622-UNOFFICIAL-awifi with its original kernel (3.4.0). It works very well in this configuration except for the SD card issue.
I've installed Red Kernel r022 from your link (the "CM nightlies" version). WiFi wasn't turning on, so I installed "v500-universal-selinux-disabler-bumped-signed.zip" to disable SELinux. SELinux mode was set to "permissive" after that, but I was still unable to enable WiFi. dmesg had this to say:
<6>[ 39.827117 / 07-28 20:19:14.322] wlan: loading driver v18.104.22.168
<6>[ 39.837219 / 07-28 20:19:14.332] DefaultCountry is US
<3>[ 39.908752 / 07-28 20:19:14.402] wlan: driver load failure
I'm out of ideas, so help would be very much appreciated.
