Code:
#include
/*
 * Your warranty is now void.
 *
 * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
 *
 * Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
 * cause of male impotence.
 */

This is an effort to get an updated kernel based on LGs KitKat kernel into CyanogenMod. The LG sources have been merged, preserving most of the changes made in CyanogenMod (double-tap to wake & co). Also, drivers have been updated to be able to use the latest Media, Audio, and Display HALs (caf and caf-new), along with new blobs. Everything else is plain CyanogenMod.

Please help by testing and reporting bugs on this, so we can finally get the improved kernel and new blobs into mainline CyanogenMod!

Notes
Use a standard baseband, not a patched version. I would advise a stock KK modem.
If Wifi does not work, reboot once. If it still doesn't, leave a message.
Slow animations? Disable HW-Overlay in the developer options (for now).

D802: cm-11-20141104-UNOFFICIAL-d802.zip

Changes
Nov 02: Fixed sensors, some cleanups
Nov 04: Fixed torch, new blobs & firmware, build d800 and d801 (untested!)

If this is based on LG Kernel then it should be the safest AOSP ROM in terms of damaging your screen with permanent black lines. And the stock camera should also work on this ROM. Looking forward to it.. Great work :thumbup:

As with most custom ROM releases this week, this issue occurred! I believe there has been an issue with CM sources that should be sorted soon.
