I bought mine in December 2013. It has been in repair several times now and has got a new IMEI two times. And i could swear that the speaker is much louder now. I don´t have measurements, but I´m pretty sure it´s gotten louder.

This number is not a hardware version.
Everybody from you guyz have HW 1.0. You can check it in service menu
3845#*802#
Settings>Version Info>HW Version. And here I have 1.0
and on sticker I have 1.1 ;]

I have 1.1 on box AND in Settings.
Purchased 2nd of May.

There is also a 1.2 on the box, but that's on the IMEI sticker, so that's probably a version for something else.

1.1 on the box, 1.0 inside, I'm from East Europe, Romania. My G2 is manufactured on July 2014.

Surprised nobody else mentioned this, but there is a 3rd location to see the H/W version, on the back of the phone, I have a sticker with the serial number and IMEI and H/W version.
In my case, the 3 location show:
- box: 1.1
- phone back: 1.0
- hidden menu: 1.0

1.0 wins in my opinion, and I assume that is the true version, not the box 1.1

1.0

1.0 here . Purchased nov 2013.
No back case cracking, speaker I think is ok, but i can confirm 3g/2g switching problem.
If i use 2g/3g network mode, it would go on 3g even in weak signals even if it says out of service, if I manually switch to 2g mode i get full bars.

My D802 has 1.1 on the box and 1.0 in service menu.
I bought phone two weeks ago. And according to serial number, phone was made in april 2015 in Korea.
So it is weird that phone made this year has old revision. Maybe it is just a number and doesn't mean anything...

Mine says 1.1 on the box, but 1.0 in the menu (also the hidden one), why is that?

    Hello all, :laugh:
    i was looking for a thread about the rev hardware of LG G2 here, but i cannot find anything.
    In one italian famous android forum, we have discovered that there are 3 rev hardware for the LG G2: 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2. :fingers-crossed:
    The hardware rev. 1.0 is the first, that have been replaced by hard rev 1.1 about end febrary/first days of march (i think) and comes with a lot of hardware fix like:
    - speaker little more louder and clear;
    - no more crackles on the body (back);
    - no touchscreen issue;
    - improved signal status;
    - power button less soft when pressed;
    - should have fixed the problem with 2g/3g switching;

    Recently, some users have bought the LG G2 D802 from some asian exporter, and it comes with hardware rev 1.2, so it should be produced this days.:cowboy:

    You can see your hardware rev on the box, as you see in this photos:

    and you can see the hardware rev 1.2 HERE.
