FYI I broke mine as well and could not get past a lock screen to connect with computer and backup my phone data. You can simply use an OTG cable and a regular mouse. Operating the phone completely with a mouse

Whene i cracked my screen nothing like this showed. Luckily there's usb otg and mouse and this saved me.
