FYI I broke mine as well and could not get past a lock screen to connect with computer and backup my phone data. You can simply use an OTG cable and a regular mouse. Operating the phone completely with a mouse

Whene i cracked my screen nothing like this showed. Luckily there's usb otg and mouse and this saved me.

It's unfortunate that new phones don't have these features. and that they break so easily :S
