Is that rhetorical or or a question. As far as I've read they upgraded to 4.4.4 a while ago....so this is 4.4.4

I think he meant 4.4.2 bootstack source which is compatible with newer LG G2 with 4.4.2 radio vs 4.2.2 bootstack source which needs 4.2.2 baseband/radio to boot. 4.4.4 is merely the appearance of the rom externally but without the appropriate source and bootstack, the rom won't boot, you may lose rotation or auto brightness, etc.

I know didn't know if it had been upgraded. I know they said they work from an Omni base and I think omni is full 4.4.4 now. I didn't know if DU followed suit as well. I wasn't trying to come off anyway on above post just can't tell tone. I did try booting the 9/7 last night but no boot. Forgot to reflash the older modem

DONATE TO ME
hi, I have a überweird problem. switching to 2G cuts off internetconnection. I need to switch from 4 to 2 because constantly connected to 4G means worse battery. On some roms it works (ASOP based or stock-based) on some it doesn't. Can this be helped?

This was me getting you to go read as opposed to just asking the question.

Answer? Official omni is based on 4.2 kernel source.

I did read in the omni thread. I had read Jake was/ is switching the base to 4.4. Thought I read he had already changed it.

He was shot down on getting the officials up to FULL (read kernel) source. Aosp Roms have been on 4.4.4 for a while now. But you need to use the jellybean (4.2) modem or a modified KitKat modem to work on 4.2.

This is fairly off topic at this point. Please pm me of this is not making sense.
