I have patched LG Smart World Global (lastest version) to work with all device.
And you can choose country.

Download and replace to system/app , give permission 644
Remove /data/data/com.lge.lgworld
Reboot

Update new version: LGSmartWorld_4.3.4.apk

I have the ATT D800 running stock 4.4.2 20y firmware. I tried side loading, and changing permissions like you put in the description but its not showing up in my list of apps. I checked the /data/data/ folder but i dont have that folder that its showing. Any help?

I have D802, have inbuilt LG SmartWorld, no need moded app for LG G2. This moded app is only for our Nexus 4. Check deep on your phone, you'll found LG SmartWorld app

The ATT version doesnt have it hidden away anywhere...I checked with no luck.
