Hello !

I'm interested in buying a wireless charger, but one question remains.
How much time does the phone take to get fully charged with thoses chargers ?

work fine for me. I've used the puck with three or four different AC chargers from 1.8 to 2.0 amps. Qi charging plates won't work correctly with a 1 amp charger, and a couple of micro USB cables didn't work reliably. But the stock charger and cable work great.

Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the info on the USB cable and wall charger. I used the cable and charger from my nexus 7 and it actually works with the 8 dollar qi pad and the cheap qi sticker. So I returned the circle case and og back plate.. Yay!!

+1 for this.

I at first bought the official LG WCD 100 Qi charger. The problem with it was that it was smaller than the phone and probably single coil and so you had to put the phone in the correct position to charge it fast (without seeing the "charging slowly" message). It was also light weight and didn't have rubber legs and so the dock keeps on sliding backwards on the table. The advantage it had was that it was foldable and so is travel friendly.

I then ordered Itian which has 3 coils. It is almost the same size as G3 and is supposedly designed for tablets and as a result I can put the phone on it casually, without worrying about the millimeter accurate positioning. It even charges the phone in landscape mode, although charging that way is real slow. It's heavier and is also padded with rubber at it's bottom edge and so it stays on spot.

I still like my homemade, $10 Qi charging cradle:

Great charger
Can confirm the CHOETECH Stadium Qi Wireless Charger Charging Pad with 3 coils works a treat. None of the "slow charging" rubbish and works fine though a fairly thick case.

Also works in the car from the car's USB port - enough juice to properly charge.

For G3 from 0% to 100%, it takes about 3.5 hours to charge wirelessly, on travel adapter from AC wall plug it takes 2+ hours

Hi, guys.

Like an idiot, I bought a Samsung S4 Qi wireless charging pad because I read some good reviews about it. When I got home, I tried it out and found that it would only charge for a couple of seconds and then stop. I used my old Samsung charger, the one that came with my NVIDIA Shield Tablet, and the one that came with the G3, all with the same effect. Thing is, I was using the same cable with all three adapters. When I switched to the cable that came with my G3 + the G3 adapter, it started working.

My actual question is: When charging the phone, I get the orange LED glow. While I'm charging it wirelessly, the LED seems to be pulsing softly. It doesn't ever turn off but it does seem to be cycling between dim and bright. Is that normal?
