Question [Q] How do you stop Cell Broadcast on the phone? - Using too much battery

According to Carat, stopping Cell Broadcast (as pictured) will save 2h 56m of useable battery life on my G3.

Cell Broadcast is something I've never seen on any of my previous android phones, I can't even find an option for it.

How do I stop this app or whatever it is from using up so much of my battery? Even uninstall it if required, I am rooted.

uninstall it or rename it and the issues should be gone you can find it in System/privapp/lgcb.apk/.odex(rename/ delete them both and reboot, do this with a root file explorer)

Thanks that actually worked. Wiki know later whether battery has improved.
