Your tip sounds great.
But from what I'm reading, and I include myself here, whilst it seems really straight forward to you, for others, finding these settings is a nightmare.

Could you please write down the full path to get to the settings for those of us who are clueless where to look.
Or if one of you others, who have already tried this could jump in with the full path, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thankyou in advance.

These are the steps using sqlite editor. If you don't want to use this specific app there are free ones on the play store.

1.open sqlite editor
2.find "SETTINGS STORAGE [com.android.providers.settings]" and select. Ref. To step2sqlite.jpg
3. Select "Settings.db"
4. Select "secure"
5. Edit accessibily_color_hue , accessibility_color_contrast and accessibility_color_intensity to whatever number you see fit. Ref. To step5sqlite.jpg
6. Toggle color adjustment setting off and back on for changes to take effect.

This db file can also be located through a file manager.

Data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases

Using root explorer I was able to navigate that path and then follow from step 3.
