Install SELinux mode changer from Play Store, and set to permissive before trying to edit the db. https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....selinux&hl=en

Getting the g3
I wanted to have good contrast, without changing the colors or saturation.

best way to get the kind of saturation which d amoled displays have is to install a kernel with kcal driver and use color control app to adjust the saturation..

LG V10 Verizon, not rooted. To all who have contributed to this great thread. I found it by spending a few hours trying various "fix color display" apps on Google, but nothing worked enough for me to be satisfied until I found this tread and discovered that the setting options are already on the phone.! I suddenly saw a line from this thread on Google and came over to look. Many hours later.....
A couple of questions:
It looks to me like after adjusting colors and contrast, you can turn off color adjustment and the settings "hold". Have others found this?
I am finding that while reading at night the whites are still too blue - want them very slightly cream - better for the eyes and for melatonin production. I had been using Bluelight Filter which has a very accurate opacity adjustment. What are the groups' thoughts on this?
And, what about using Lumia instead of the stock dimming adjustment?
LG V10 - settings very similar to the G3 exist here: settings/ accessibility/vision/color adjustment.
