Have you unlocked your boot loader?
You may need a hacked aboot.bin
Have you tried turning it off and back on again?
well then I'm all out of ideas

Yes he has. D400 unlocks like D415 apparently.

My best guess would be something wrong with his aboot.bin
Have you tried turning it off and back on again?
well then I'm all out of ideas

Possibility. D415 doesn't need aboot.bin to unlock tho .

I don't know but those pink/purple screens were the same as what I got when I tried to flash a custom recovery without flashing a custom aboot.bin
Have you tried turning it off and back on again?
well then I'm all out of ideas

Yes I have. Apparently this model does not need a modified aboot to unlock the bootloader.

Yes you're right you don't need modified aboot.bin to unlock you boot loader.
but you will to enter into recovery I'm almost certain.
But hey I could be wrong.

So, is there a chance of unlocking bootloader on D405N with newest update 10f?
