I'm not sure what ROM you're running. If running CM11, external sdcard is at 'extSdCard' or 'extrenal_sd'. If running stock ROM, external sdcard is 'storage/external_SD'

This can also be done via Terminal Emulator. Just drop 'adb shell' from the command
Wow. Thank you again! I used Terminal emulator and it works like a charm.

Yea, we know it is possible, but it's just nice to have an unlocked boot loader sometimes. Plus it makes for easier development.

This is good to know. I have been reading forum posts and look for a simple way out. Would you care to share some details do newbies like me can benefit?

I have rooted LG90 D415, and would like to know what next steps are:

1. how to flash a custom recovery?

2. how to get ROMs for L90?

Many thanks !!!

First of all, wrong thread to be asking that question, but it's ok, i do it all the time. lol

Answer to first question : (No PC method)
*For this method you will need a micro SD card.
*Im using TWRP
1. Download twrp and put it in your SD card. Here is the link for the one im using. http://quarx2k.ru/lg_l90/twrp.img
2. Download flashify from play store.
3. Open flashify and install the twrp you downloaded and saved on SD card.

Answer to second question:
There's not that many ROMS for our device right now. I'm using an unofficial port of CM11. It has a few bugs, but it's functional.
Here is the thread for the CM11 ROM I'm using. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2871371
If you want to use another ROM, help yourself and try to find one that is compatible with your device.

How to flash a ROM via TWRP?
1.Download the ROM and put it in your SD card.
2.Enter recovery by turning off your phone, then hold volume down button and power button simultaneously, when you see the LG logo release buttons and then hold volume down and power buttons again. Answer yes to both prompts. You should be on recovery after that.
3. Once you're in TWRP wipe data.
4. install ROM.

Caution ⚠
If you don't know or understand what I'm talking about, just stop, educate yourself in the forums and try it when you're sure you know what you're doing.

Good luck
