I think I'm just going to keep it as Download Mode. Since there is really no point to unlock bootloader

Makes sense. The only reason I even brought this up was becasue I discovered it while trying to flash the Ubuntu Touch build. It wouldnt recognize any of the commands, and that was why lol. Ah well, hopefully it'll help someone out!
