1 I keep all my backups on my PC (I have multiple going back several weeks/months) . The choice is up to you where to keep your backups. There is a possibility that you might format your SD card by mistake. So keeping multiple copies is not a bad id...
1 That's the kernel logo. Some custom kernels have a custom logo. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app Concur. That logo is buried deep into the very basic start-up functions of the OS. A special rom would take care of that....
