1 Thank you. And do i lose anything else EXCEPT the root (like apps or smthn) ? Nope, I've done it once and lost nothing, was pretty quick and straight forward actually, even kept my current settings.

1 Looking into this xposed module which can hide root from an app. First use failed, but will spend some time over the next few days playing around with it. Perhaps this will resolve the westpac nfc issue and rooted phones.
1 Ok so if one gets the Alliance ROM instead? do I even need to do all that flashing of the taiwan firmware and the 2 files from the XSA firmware? or can I skip that go directly install the Alliance Rom? Pretty sure you flash Alliance ROM. No need...
