It is affected in low light conditions as you can see here. That is a two different pictures taken with two different phones....

I can confirm a slight change in camera quality before and after this kernel on .16. However, I prefer with custom kernel then without one. The white balance is better on this kernel :D IMG255 is after custom kernel and IMG247 is before

I have a solution, I will be releasing it soon, it's a serious change and it will need extensive testing. I'm trying this open beta, rapid release thing. Basically I make a few changes at a time, release, wait for a couple hundred people to down...

Perfect test. Thanks! Looks identical. good to know unlocking bootloader on my z2 didn't effect camera quality!

You can find other examples in the forum. With UB, pics taken in low light conditions are a little more grainy. But you can apply a smooth filter in a appropriate photo editor. There is no way of telling without the same picture taken from lock...
