Good question. First, I unlocked the bootloader (keeping stock recovery). Rebooted the tab. Then went through all the updates to 4.4.4, then used TowelRoot to root it.

That mean just use file explorer to move 0/titaniumbackup folder to legacy/Titaniumbackup?
But I use ES file explorer. that say 0 and legacy also have titaniumbackup file

You should be able to restore apps and most app data. NOT system data, though. That's asking for trouble.
