for those who want to install recovery without pc you can always use terminal emulator:
rename your image to TWRP_18.104.22.168.img and have it placed in Download folder
cat /sdcard/Download/TWRP_22.214.171.124.img >/dev/block/mmcblk0p1
Installed it on my Xperia Z3 running MM 6.0 (Customised Stock).
