1 adw is preety neat...but i had same problem even when i was trying to instal some themes...most of the icons normaly changed...but a few system apps havent :/ i can recomend MIUI if u're willing to try it View...
1 you can download icon packs from android market and change icons manualy by clicking on them..there are tons of them on market if i remember correctly. click on app on your screen > edit > change icon > from adw pack > solved! View...
