2 Thank you jrc2 and fr4n I was using the wrong/outdated recovery all this time. Downloaded twrp from andi's thread and flashed it using mobile odin, it worked like charm. I'm glad to know you managed to solve it! :D Sent from my Tab 2 using XDA-D...
2 I have found it works better to use Odin (if on windows) or Heimdall (if on Mac or Linux) to flash recoveries. Sent from my SGH-T989 Heimdall works better, believe me ;)
