i got it! i held down the power and down volume keys until the "fastboot" text.
Then i used aroot to unroot phone.
Then i scrolled down with the down volume key until i got to "android recovery".
The android robot shows up with the exclamation...
just tried it as posted above and it worked thx, have to change file system for cache,data and system.
Oh I just reread and your flashing a incorrect image. It says wrong zipped image! I actually have never seen that error before. Make sure you rename the correct image accordingly..
Hmmm, I renamed it accordingly , I'll try flashing it via pc to...
I tried that and i got "did you mean erase partition?"
i believe it just said "erasing cache" after hitting enter key, then "OKAY" and finished in blah blah seconds.

Tried the updated instructions and they worked like a charm. Only issue i had was when i had to install the custom recovery. I would get an error unable to open. Did some looking around and realized that i had to do a "fastboot erase cache" before...
