1 If you want to, go for it. I'm also one of those that took some sandpaper to the chrome bezel because I also thought it was always scuffed pretty bad after normal use, and after doing that it looked awesome. Also helped with the resale value back ...
1 Just make sure you get Thermal Pads and not Thermal Tape, those are the ones that are sticky. I made that mistake a few years back for an 8800GT waterblock that I used on the vrm's... they were attached to the tape when I removed the block lol....
