More than anything I want to use my Gear2 to trigger my Tasker Tasks! Either by voice command or icon press. Depending on the level of integration would depend on what the price could be. My devices and ROM details are in my signature.

I still haven't convinced myself to make the switch yet. I own the Gear VR and a Gear2. I would prefer to have 1 device do it all and so far my S6 Edge is doing it. I just miss all of the Custom ROMs, hacks and tweaks that come with fully unlocked...

If you are rooted you can use Tasker to do this. Create a Profile for when a specific app is launched. Then make the Task to change Media Volume. Should take a few minutes to setup and work perfectly.

For those who don't know. Task posted on G+ that he is leaving for 18 months so we may not see any further development on this. Maybe another Dev will pickup where he left off. Thanks for all that you've done man!
