Can any1 give me like to download boot.IMG for xt1022.
True boot.img. which I can unpack.

Is there any differance between stock moto ROM and aosp?

AFAIK the stock ROM differs from AOSP basically on two counts.
  1. Changes to make it dual SIM compatible
  2. Moto apps like Migrate,Alert,etc
I've attached the boot.img from the latest firmware(4.4.4) of XT1022. Hope it helps.

The stock kernel extracted from stock firmware is not editable..
we can unpack bt rebuild gives error..
OP want boot.img that is editable!

Oh..I thought the boot.img in the firmware would do the trick

Than how can I get one to port using galaxy user's guide?

Its basically AOSP so that guide should work.m I right?
