faster download source
I thought I'd try switching my old Moto G LTE over to /e/ before fooling around with my Moto Z Play (which at this point hasn't even been rooted, though I just got the bootloader unlock code for it today). I already had stock 4.4.4, rooted, bootloader-unlocked, and with the latest TWRP, but the procedure for installing /e/ complained that the bootloader was too old. Meanwhile, the phone wants to update to 5.1. Maybe this'll have a newer bootloader, but I need to revert the phone to stock (no root or custom recovery) to safely do that, so I wound up here.
The firmware links in the original post are to an exceedingly slow filehost...took two tries and the better part of 6 hours to download the firmware image I needed.
While waiting for it to download, I found this:
https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0Bw_NsGJYGFyVUnpsNGwzaFhGSGs
It downloaded in less than a minute, and SHA-1 sums of it and the file from the slow filehost were identical.
(This is for the XT1045 US retail version of v4.4.4 firmware.)
