WARNING: This has been tested ONLY on XT1032. It will work on GPE and XT1034, however XT1033 (dual-sim) is buggy and it will NOT work on CDMA

Thanks to @premaca and @mbj731 for testing and reporting other variants

AOD's premise is (and I quote):

Quote:

AndroidOpenDevelopment is meant to be an AOSP/CAF base with hardware support for various OEM chipsets such as QCOM OMAP Tegra, etc, without any additional feature support.

It is hoped that various community ROMs will submit patches from upstream sources for basic hardware support eliminating the need for each ROM to do all the extra work, thereby bringing COMMUNITY back to android

When I stumbled upon this rom I couldn't have felt happier: It was basically out of the box AOSP/CAF but perfectly compatible with our device (well, I did change some things for compatibility but it was pretty much done!). So, after build was done and I flashed it on my xt1032, I got even another surprise: it was smooth. Really, really smooth. So I decided to start using it and maybe start making my own changes, making the rom I would like to use everyday. Obviously, there are still TODOs, but it is now in a very nice state so I wanted to share it with you guys, see what you think. Now, here's a changelog of the uploaded builds (you should check the github for all the changes since the beginning of time):

Changelog
Code:
20150308
-Translations updated for cmfm, sound recorder, calculator
-Disable memcpy_base.S optimization
-Updates on fm materialize commit
-Many browser updates (fixes, new open in incognito tab options, increased tab limit, added history back, fullscreen toggle, and more)
-Fix nav button ripple getting stuck
-Camera: stop using GPS when going to background
-Camera: remove google help preference

20150303
-Remove charge_only_mode (wasn't working)
-Remove more cmhw leftovers (in sepolicy this time)
-Change product id while in usb charging only
-Fixed more sepolicy denials (cm update)
-Location and Cast tile are now dynamic
-Materialize toast frames
-CM/AOD updates are merged (file manager, sound recorder..)

20150301
-Merged latest aod changes (national data roaming)
-Back to enforced selinux (sorry xposed people)
-Bring back the reverse earphones/stereo fix
-Materialized! Browser (added incognito mode), MMS (still wip), FM, Calendar, and leftovers in Telecomm. Used sources from Slim, CM and a friend of mine made mms icon (thanks @edisile!)
-"Accept all files" option for incoming files via bt
-New bt material icon
-Allow sending apks via bt
-Deblurred some pngs in dialer/incallui

20150226
-Removed a non working option in settings
-Fixed a couple of CAF data display bugs
-Swap volume buttons when screen is rotated by 90 or 180
-Revert the headsup decay change
-Permissive selinux
-Revert the reverse headphones/stereo fix
-Fixed miracast
-Removed more unwanted packages
-Change sounds to defaults in lollipop

20150223
-Initial release (check the github..)
My sources
AOD's sources - Gerrit
G+ Community
Kernel source

Bugs/Not working
-Hotspot
-Device recognition for XT1033, also msim has some bugs

How to install
-I would be on a Lollipop firmware, and have the latest TWRP installed first
1) Wipe data, dalvik, cache, and format system
2) Flash rom zip
3) Flash gapps - you can also use these
4) Flash SuperSU (optional)
6) Reboot and you're done

This list isn't done, obviously. There are many, many more.

I Just installed on XT1033, and is working out of the box. I was on stock 5.0.2 and with twrp 2.8.5.0, installed successfully without any errors and boot was quick too, surprisingly.

Will test for couple minutes and post screen shots. XT1033 users can flash this ROM without any doubt, and great thanks to @anerik for another wonderful ROM. (PS: I have only one SIM currently though, nevertheless the other SIM with cross-icon is showing)
