My ISP has reduced my monthly bandwidth allowance by a third. If you guys want a ROM mirrored, state clearly which ROM. I will try to create a mirror, but it could be some days before I have access to another internet connection.

I did not test it personally, and hoped it would work. Obviously not. It's not there in the Untouched ROM, Hangouts is the default messaging app and I guess you will have to use that; or alternatively you could try a modified stock messaging app such as Sliding SMS:

Yes, it should. I will be releasing an updated ROM when that time comes anyway.

One other thing about the Messaging app. I have noticed that when adding an app after installing a ROM; the app might force-close first time, but will work if re-opened. I will rebuild GPE Optimized v1 soon, with either stock messaging app working or Hangouts included.

No, zip includes stock kernel and modules.

Thanks for these. Tried about 5 different ROMs and all performed the basics in both feel and benchmarks less well than stock. Glad to have got that back!

Just plain stock, unlocked and rooted. Performs everything I want better than all the CM/PA based ROMs I tried. On each of those my Quadrant slipped form about 9000 to about 4500 and Antutu from 17500 to just under 17000 or I couldn't get WiFi or my UI crashed. Also on all the CM based ROMs swipe transitions on the home screen were less smooth using Nova. Stock is not as customisable, but works best for what I want.

Not sure why you mean my 'battery backup' - but battery life is excellent.

Yes, battery backup means battery life.
You can use exposed to customize.
I am backing to stock to try. I'm on Mokee + Xperience and it's very good but I think stock is even better.

Agreed, I am also on stock (xt1028), unlocked, rooted Moto G with Xposed and Gravity Box installed and loving it! After trying MANY Roms, got tired of all the flashing nightlies and dealing with various rom bugs. Stock much better for me. BTW, my Antutu Benchmark is 18181 (Quadrant is 8875) Never got anywhere near that on ANY Moto G rom!

Thanks for the heads up on gravity box! Gives you some useful tweaks.
