Well, but you dont need to rebuild the entire ROM for changing for 4.4.4 cyanogen just for fixing a bug?

There are too minor bug fixes but i agree, why change the name from 4.4.3 to 4.4.4 ..

because of bad press saying your latest OS is not secure with OpenSSL bug regardless of facts on if this is really an issue for smartphones.

KK 4.4.4 might need some more weeks to get pushed OTA. A moto employee just confirmed that 4.4.4 came more or less unexpected and the update has to be handed to carriers first to evaluate any bugs. I guess that we might get lucky by mid july.

If people googles 4.4.3 may found that this version has security bugs, so I think that is better to change the name to avoid people with the fix thinking that his android version is not secure.
