I had the xt1032 which drained really fast. I tried using different chargers and calibration but it was of no use. When I got to Motorola they said that my battery's total hold capacity was only 20%. They changed my battery and I bought a Motorola charger from them. Since then I have no problems in charging my device and it gives me a pretty good battery life

how to check battery's total hold capacity?

my moto G, no root.
previously can live up to ~4 hours screen on time.
but now is struggling to get even 3 hours screen on time.

any chance my battery is having problem with capacity?

Your battery life decreases with time. It's natural

I wanted to keep it with stock. Most people anyway don't root and etc so it wouldn't be beneficial for them, and the people on xda are generally smarter than average.

If battery backup lowers in non-removable version, what is the recommendation?
