Hey guys!

Just a moment ago I found a video on G+ that shows the Moto G third generation prototype in action!

Some data:

Model: XT1543

Codename: osprey

System version: 23.36.4.osprey_retla_ds.retla.en.01 (Dual SIM - Retail Latin America)

Kernel version: 3.10.49 compiled on Thuesday, June 11, 2015

This model will arrive with Android 5.1.1 and will have the new Messages app from Motorola, and also has the Moto app, which allows you to use the phone with voice commands and Moto display!

The guy speaks in spanish and it seems to be from Mexico.

Totally legit! Hope to see official specs of this baby soon!!!

Also that model number and another two are listed as the last devices added to 4g networks in Brazil... Which means it has 4g out of the box.

And a guy sent me this photo!

If you want, tip this thread so it can be seen on the XDA portal! Cheers!

Yup, seems legit, unfortunately.

I was looking forward to this, but Snapdragon 410, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB storage is hardly an update from the original Moto G. Probably OK, if they sell it at $150 price point, but I am personally gonna go for the rumored LG Nexus, if there really is one.

The XT1543 firmware is 1.4gb when installed. It's most likely that model of Moto G (3rd Gen) has at least 16gb internal storage.

EDIT: Forgot about MicroSD listed as a feature. 8gb internal may be possible in that scenario.
