Which features did you specifically want from the stock apps?

I dont understand whats so special about that assist app (heard a lot about it in other places too)...
there are tons of apps far more better than assist
Motorola Moto G a.k.a XT1033 a.k.a Falcon
Running Stock KK 4.4.2, Soundmagic PL11 earphones

it looks nice, is easy to use and works like a charm. i just like to have an app that silences my phone during a calendar event without including loads of additinal features. atm I am running silent calendar, but its a little bit sluggish and I cannot unmute the device manually if my appointment is not that important. i tried llama as well, but this is far more I need ...
if there is a nice alternative, I would rather prefer that one over moto assist.
