Hi,

I couldn't find a post about this* so here goes:

Does towelroot work with the latest stock android 4.4.4 Moto G rom? On the towelroot site is says it should be compatible with any kitkat device from before june 3rd - and 4.4.4 (at least for Moto G) is younger...

* I might have missed it. In that case I'd gladly hear it

Not according to android police: "Update: We've confirmed Towelroot is not affected by 4.4.4."

Airtight, I thought that I've read somewhere that it was patched, but it seems it isn't.

Well, I guess it's not possible:

"Third, it won't work with Motorola or HTC phones."

Or is this an old article?

Update:

Okay looks like it's definitely now possible (from the original XDA thread):

"Newest Moto and HTC don't currently work because /system is write protected."
