I would only flash the system, boot.IMG, and modem files to be safe. You can remove those lines from the batch/bash file with a Notepad app or text editor.

So remove everything BUT those? IS there an easier way to just factory reset?

tools\fastboot.exe flash boot firmware/boot.img
echo Flashing SYSTEM.
tools\fastboot.exe flash system firmware/system.img
echo Flashing MODEM.
tools\fastboot.exe flash modem firmware/NON-HLOS.bin
tools\fastboot.exe erase modemst1
tools\fastboot.exe erase modemst1
tools\fastboot.exe flash fsg firmware/fsg.mbn
echo Wiping CACHE, USERDATA, and CUSTOMIZE.
tools\fastboot.exe erase cache
tools\fastboot.exe erase userdata
tools\fastboot.exe erase customize
echo Flash complete, rebooting.
tools\fastboot.exe reboot

Yup!

And factory reset only will wipe user data, not system.

Just a heads up...the Linux script has some Windows back slash path endings instead of Unix style forward slash path endings. This was keeping the script from running wget to get the file.

Example you have wget -P firmware\ instead of wget -P firmware/

This script is no longer being maintained, please see other Moto X Utilities, or use RSD Lite with the files from the Firmware Team at http://sbf.droid-developers.org/

Thank you all for your support, but I have other things going on and can no longer support this tool.
