Also started getting crashes To the bootloader every couple of minutes. Fed up I restored a Nandroid. I guess I'll try the regular method with a computer and mfastboot instead of this shortcut method.
Android on its back is the stock recovery. Guessing something changed in system made the update fail. You can look at the recovery log to see what it was if you're even interested at this point.
