I'm having some major issues with my Rogers (1058) factory OS I'm currently running. I'm unlocked and using TWRP at the moment. Can I still flash this by any chance?

I'm running my XT1053 DE on ATT. Unlocked and rooted running a custom rom. Would this flash to my Moto and if I returned to stock recovery, would future OTAs be possible. BTW, my 1053 shows up on my PC as a XT1058?

No, do not flash this or you might brick your device (probably not but I will at least soft brick it).

You have the XT1053, flash the T-Mobile/unlock firmware. This firmware is for ATT version.

Yeah xD don't worry, it was like a retoric question since i update to 4.4.4 then rooted it soon after i wrote that post ahaha

Just another question, i have an AT&T Moto X XT1058 and 4G is the only network available, i cant change it to 2G/3G from the settings. Is there a way to unlock the other networks?

The X will only support the bands the specs list. So if your networks bands for 3g aren't supported by the at&t model, There's nothing you can do. If they are supported, then it should work. Should. 🍻

Minato when you unlocked it, were you on 4.4.4?
I also have a XT1058 AT&T 4.4.4. I need to get rid of the annoying AT&T address book and for what I read its not possible to unlock the bootloader on this version. Please let me know. Thanks

Sorry for the late reply, mate.

I was on rooted 4.4 when i unlocked the bootloader.
And yeah, i feel you. I got root immediately to get rid of all AT&T bloatware.

I hope for you that when Lollipop firmware will be available, there's an opening to unlock bootloader again

Bro use LTE on/off app from playstore.. It 'll allow u to select any network mode u want...
I am also on at&t xt1058 4.4.4... N i know there is a complete risk of downgrading from 4.4.4 to 4.4.2.. So waiting for lollipop as i also aware that there is a major possibility of rooting and bootloader unlocking.
Btw any idea how far we are from android 5.0???
