I'm not familiar with File Factory, I'll have to look into that. Someone on the Republic Wireless forum was actually able to get me the file I needed.

My bootloader isn't unlocked, I had just Safestrap installed, with 4.4.2 rooted and write protection off. I flashed the SBF 4.2.2, then used the 4.4.2 update zip to update. I'm no longer rooted, and Safestrap is gone, but write protection is still off. It looks like there may be no way to restore write protection, so I may just have to send it in as is and see what happens.
