Thinking of buying one is the developer and T-Mobile version are same? (because it would be good for me to get custom colors with dev edition networks).

Yes they are the same, the factory stock firmware for the Unlocked version also work with the Dev version.

Looks like all the carrier versions are coming up $50 more on the website. I wonder if this will be the same in the "sale" that starts tonight? Hopefully, we get the carrier versions for $299/325 and not $50 more than that.
