Looks like there's a mixture of success and failure here from different people. For those that are sticking to Qi (not touchstone), would you recommend it at this point?

I just got a brand new DE moto x so I'm trying to be very cautious.

I've come to the same conclusion reading this thread. If you have great soldering skills, you might be successful, but the results have been very spotty. Even taking the conservative approach and trying a usb Qi receiver, my phone would not charge via Qi. Seems like the phone's charging threshold is higher than what a Qi charging unit puts out.
