Default [Q] Apple Emoji Mod

Has anyone tried this and had any success on a Moto X? I tried it last night and now my phone wont turn on!

I followed this guys method, and it worked like a charm now. All Apple-style emojis work are displayed in all fields.

Changed file name "AppleColorEmoji.ttf " to AndroidEmoji.ttf

put new ttf in the right directory, and renamed original AndroidEmoji to AndroidEmojiOLD...

Lastly, I do believe root is required to change permissions and place the AppleColorEmoji.tff file into /system/fonts/ I used root explorer to move the file and change permissions to 644.
