Just a quick question, but when you unlock your bootloader, I know your memory is wiped. Is the system partition wiped too? Do I need an OS ready to load either via RSD lite, or is it just a factory reset?

factory reset. i assume by partition you meant, does unlocking your bootloader leave you with a phone that can only boot to fastboot mode lol. the answer is no. you will still have a functioning phone.
