DONATE TO ME
Default [Q] Dead Android on reboot recovery

I'm on the locked bootloader model for verizon. I'm trying to boot into recovery (just stock recovery) and I get the dead android screen:

[See attached image]

I am currently rooted, on 4.4 with write protection off. What can I do to get recovery back? I should mention that I also just installed safestrap though this was an issue prior to that.

Any suggestions?

That image IS the stock recovery. When you're on that screen hold the volume up button for a couple seconds and then without releasing the volume button quickly press and release the power button. That will bring up the onscreen menu.
