Default [Q] getting root/TWRP on T-mobile Moto X without unlocking BL?

Hey guys,

So I have a t-mobile moto x and I want to get root and TWRP on it without unlocking the bootloader. (for warranty purposes)

I know that root is possible, I found these 2 threads, but which one do I use?\
[4.4 ROOT] SlapMyMoto 1.0 (Works with MotoWPNoMo)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2538896
or
[kill write protection] MotoWpNoMo
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2551113

which one would also allow me to get TWRP on the device? Thank you very much

No unlocked bootloader, no TWRP.

Too just Root, you would use SlapMyMoto first, then you could use MotoWPNoMo.

But as nhizzat posted, without an unlocked bootloader, you can't install TWRP.

I used to use safestrap on my Droid 3 and Droid 4, and it was REALLY nice. Onlt issue I see is that there isn't a ton of safestrap development on this phone (unless I missed something)

My bootloader is unlocked, am I supposed to use Jcase's SlapMyMoto or just install SuperSu?

If your bootloader is already unlocked... just flash TWRP and install SuperSU.. see -> https://plus.google.com/110773150384...ts/VhtJtg92sTP
