[Q] cant read memory card via card reader through otg cable in moto x

I'm using moto x for a month and all kind of pen drive
Is perfectly working in my phone via otg. And I am
Using es file explorer. But when I tried to read a mem.card
Using a card reader it is not even get detected. Its 8gb micro
SD card. Any solution?

Check /storage/usbdisk in Solid/Explorer free. There is an obscure location too, I have seen posted. Search.

It should appear in settings-storage but no location or browsing access.

I use a USB shuttle for the micro cards not a "card reader". No problem.

Or even a all in one drive/USB combo up to 64 GB on 444.
