Default Simple answer to wipe and start fresh keeping root?

I have a Dev Edition on 4.4.2 and getting some weird stuff from some apps. What is the SIMPLIEST way to wipe and start fresh and not lose root? I am bootloader unlocked, rooted on a Dev edition.

Also, if you are bootloader unlocked, you don't have to worry about losing root. You can just flash it again
