I was wondering if the tool/restore utility from Still this Guy will restore my verizon DE back to stock on 4.4.2.? I have looked in all the threads and maybe I missed it but if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. I am tempted to just trying to restore it and finding out myself but i just don't want a bricked device. Someone please help.

Just use the guide linked below. See the return to stock section. It's very simple. Forget the toolkits, nothing is learned using them, and things can go bad. Where as long as you follow the steps, fastboot is pretty reliable and simple once you get used to the commands.

No problem! Good luck!! It's a snap once you are used to fastboot. And is a handy tool!
