Decision for me was easy: I opted for the MotoMaker 32gb Moto X. A quick glance of the development forums let me know an unlocked bootloader wasn't necessary at all because there was (and currently is) little to no development for this phone. Having used this as my primary device for the past month, I quickly realized that custom roms don't add much to the experience when Xposed and GravityBox are available.
